Pioneer Club Guidelines
*We recommend that you preregister your child for The Fellowship Discovery Club program. This ensures that we have enough supplies and books for everyone. There is a form on this website that you can send through email.
*Fellowship Church's Discovery Program will start at 10:15 on Sunday mornings at Middletown Middle School. We ask that you escort your child(ren) into the main cafetorium and leave them with a leader. Please do not drop them off outside. We cannot ensure their safety if we do not know they are there!
*Children will be meeting in a classroom down the hall from the cafetorium. After club (11:30) please come get your child or send a preapproved parent, guardian, or older child (16 and older) in to pick up your child. Again, we cannot have children unsupervised in the halls for security reasons.
* We want your child to have a good time! We also want everyone to have a chance to do the same. In matters of discipline we will hold to a '3 strikes you're out' philosophy before contacting parents. Parents will be contacted either by phone or email. Sometimes in severe cases it may be necessary to 'suspend' a child from club for a few weeks. This will be done only if absolutely necessary and will be done discreetly.
Children will be expected to follow the same guidelines they have at school:
*respect one another's feelings-no name-calling, or verbal abuse
*respect one another's space- no pushing, shoving, hitting, poking, etc.
*respect the leaders-no talking back or display of bad-attitude towards the leaders, listen during Bible time, hand raising to speak during lesson time
*respect of property-no running in hallways, no wandering unsupervised, no theft or abuse of middle school, church or private property
*respect of God-dress is to be moderate-girls need to wear shirts with sleeves, no midriffs, no mini skirts or very short shorts, no see-through clothes without proper attire underneath. Guys should not have pants that hang below their underwear, see through tank tops . No clothes with cuss words or derogetory statements.
