Weverton Cliffs Hike

Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a comfortable but hearty hike up to Weverton Cliffs with some of your friends from Fellowship Church!
Weverton Cliffs, directly in between Brunswick and Harpers Ferry along the Potomac River and one of the scenic overlooks of the Appalachian Trail has been known as a worthwhile hiking destination for many years. Church groups have been known to hold picnics on the cliffs even at the turn of
the 20th century.
This hike is considered a Young Adult Group activity, but anyone at or over the age of 13 is welcome to come with us! While the hike is not very difficult, please keep in mind that it does take some effort and anyone with heath concerns or who thinks a long hike may risk their health is asked to not participate in this hike since emergency assistance will not be readily available.
What you need to bring:

A bagged lunch and PLENTY OF WATER

Shoes or boots with good grip.

Light and comfortable clothing

Take Route 17 to Rt. 340 West

Follow 340w to Route 67 Boonsboro Exit

Right after merging onto 67, turn right onto Weverton Road.

Look for a gravel parking area on the right.
